On April 11th the police arrested the female suspected of starting the fight that lead to brawl the caused Raymond's death. Her arraignment date is set for June 11th 2026. Time and any changes to links will be posted when they become available .
The next court date is on April 15th. This court hearing is a scheduling event for preliminary hearing. The hearing will be available to watch using the Teams link.
Juvenile charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon and pleaded Guilty in Juvenile Court. Sentencing was 6-8 months at "the Ranch" juvenile detention facility.
On January 27, 2026, Homicide Unit Detectives identified a second suspect, a male juvenile, responsible for the stabbing. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant and with the assistance of the Covert Response Unit (CRU), the juvenile suspect was located and apprehended in the city of Santa Clara. The juvenile suspect was later booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall for crimes related to homicide.
On August 5, 2025, Homicide Unit Detectives, with assistance from the Covert Response Unit (CRU) and the Violent Crimes Enforcement Team (VCET), located and apprehended Suspect Rosales and Suspect Van in the city of San José. Both suspects were transported to the Santa Clara County Main Jail, where Suspect Rosales was booked for murder and Suspect Van was booked as an accessory to murder.
